Good camerawork ain't rocket science. It's brain surgery.

Shooting and editing video is so satisfying to me that it rarely feels like work.  I think of my job as doing whatever it takes to make my client happy. I've enjoyed forty five years shooting and editing news, documentaries, sports, reality shows, corporate communications, and commercials. More please!

Whether I'm shooting with an iPhone or IMAX, I'm all about the craft. I care about storytelling, composition, a steady camera, thoughtful lighting, clean audio, and teamwork.

media trainer

One of the most satisfying things about having lots of experience is being able to help newsmakers, actors, interview subjects, and corporate spokespersons look and sound their best and communicate powerfully. My media training skills were acquired from shooting well over a thousand interviews and coaching corporate and government clients of PR firms Porter Novelli, Fleishman-Hillard, and Hill & Knowlton.
